Wendy Sharak LMHC, ATR received her Master’s degree in Expressive Art Therapy from Lesley University in 2001. She is the Senior Clinician for The Guidance Center’s Family After School Program in Cambridge, an intensive therapeutic milieu for children with significant emotional distress. For sixteen years, she has provided highly customized and structured support through case management, collaboration and consultation with schools, therapy providers and parents to improve the well-being of children with a wide range of complex mental heath needs. As an expressive art therapist, her group work makes use of creative modalities such as visual art, music, dance, drama and puppets to further therapeutic change and personal growth. She supervises expressive therapy interns at FASP and provides professional consultation to therapists working with children and families.
